Smoothie For Weight Loss
Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 medium-sized banana
- 1 cup frozen mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
- 1 tablespoon almond butter
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1 teaspoon honey or a natural sweetener (optional)
- 1 cup fresh spinach or kale (optional)
- Ice cubes (optional, for a thicker consistency)
Instructions:
In a blender, add the unsweetened almond milk as the base.
Peel the banana and break it into chunks. Add it to the blender.
Add the frozen mixed berries, almond butter, chia seeds, and honey (if using) to the blender.
If you want to incorporate some leafy greens, add fresh spinach or kale to the blender as well.
Blend all the ingredients on high speed until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency. If the mixture seems too thick, you can add a few ice cubes and blend again.
Once the smoothie is well blended, taste it and adjust the sweetness if needed by adding more honey or a natural sweetener.
Pour the weight loss smoothie into a glass or a portable container.
You can enjoy it immediately or refrigerate it for later use. If refrigerating, give it a good shake or stir before consuming.
